A32 Beech King Air 350

The Beech King Air is a two-crew light executive, freight and passenger transport. A derivative of the Beech King Air 200, the 350 incorporated a T-tail, increased wing span, extra fuel and improved pressurisation and turboprop power plants. Various B200 models introduced cargo doors and removable wing-tip tanks.

Two Beech King Air 200 aircraft were leased to the RAAF in mid-1997 followed by a further two in 1999. Airflite Pty Ltd leased these aircraft for a period of three years to the RAAF's School of Air Navigation as navigation trainers. They were allocated the serial range A32. The first two aircraft were fitted with glass cockpits, EFI and FMS before delivery.
