Sydney
In common with other major cities, Sydney housed a large number of RAAF units during World War II, as new recruits were organised before deployment to operational areas. The main locations for the RAAF in Sydney were the Randwick Racecourse and Bradfield Park, however, many other buildings across the city were utilised for defence purposes. Following the end of the war, No 2 Stores Depot continued to operate from Regents Park, closing in the mid-1990s.
