Members of the Standby Reserve transferring to employable elements of the Reserve
Members of the Air Force Standby Reserve can apply to transfer to
employable elements of the Air Force Reserve. Member interested in
transferring should contact their closest Reserve Training Wing Squadron to discuss vacancies and the transfer process.
A member’s Standby Reserve status can be confirmed by contacting their local Reserve Training Wing Squadron (link to Reserve Squadron Locations) or by contacting WGCDR Amanda Leslie (amanda.leslie@defence.gov.au, (02) 62667716).
Ex-Air Force members not in the Standby Reserve
Ex-Air Force members who are not in the Standby Reserve and wish to
transfer to an employable element of the Air Force Reserve are
recruited by Defence Force Recruiting. Call 131901.
