Air Force Reserve Organisation
The Air Force Reserve comprises four higher command elements and 10 Air Force Reserve squadrons.
Higher Organisation
Director General Reserves – Air Force
The Director General Reserves - Air Force is responsible for
providing the Chief of Air Force with advice on the management of Air
Force Reserves and Australian Air Force Cadets and is responsible for
developing policy in these areas.
Director of Personnel Reserves – Air Force
The Director of Personnel Reserves – Air Force is responsible for
Air Force Reserve personnel management and policy and for Reserve
salary.
Deputy Director Reserve Training, Headquarters Air Force Training Group
The Deputy Director Reserve Training is responsible for Air Force
Reserve training policy and for functional control of Combat Reserve
Wing ground training.
Headquarters Combat Reserve Wing
is responsible for the operational control of the 10 Air Force Reserve
squadrons and for providing competent Air Force Reserve personnel to
augment Australian Defence Force capability.
